Accessibility Services:
- CASp Inspections & Accessibility Inspections
- Sites and buildings are inspected using distance and surface slope measuring tools to determine the compliance of site accessible parking, signage and paths of travel and building seating, transaction counters, sanitary facilities and paths of travel with applicable construction-related accessibility standards and ADA compliance.
- CASp Reports
- CASp inspection reports includes a summary of the permit history, a description of the facilities, and identification of all accessibility barriers. The description includes the applicable construction-related accessibility standards that apply determined by the building permit history. The report states a determination of “meets applicable standards” or “inspected by a CASP”, in which case violations of the applicable standards and ADA compliance are identified.
- ADA Accessibility Plan reviews
- Review of facility plans and specifications for compliance with state and federal accessibility laws, codes and regulations.
- ADA Design solutions
- With my experience as an Architect and a Contractor, I can also provide design solutions that are feasible and cost-effective if needed.
Per California Code of Regulations, Title 21, Division 1, Chapter 1, Subchapter 2.5, Section 113, the CASp Scope of Work may include the following:
- Review of facility plans and specifications for compliance with state and federal accessibility laws, codes and regulations.
- Investigation of a facility for compliance with state and federal accessibility codes and regulations.
- Accessibility research, ADA compliance, preparation of accessibility reports and/or accessibility inspections, as authorized.
